We are seeking an experienced Director of Commercial Bus Sales working out of our corporate office in Lewisville, Texas.  The Director of Commercial Bus Sales is a pivotal new position in NIRVC’s expansion efforts. The Director is responsible for creating and managing a new bus sales program for transportation services, developing new business relationships, and driving sales to create a new revenue stream for the business.  The position is a hybrid role, working out of our corporate office in Lewisville, TX (50% in-office). 
 
As a Director of Commercial Bus Sales you will:

 
  • Identify new business opportunities within the transportation sector, establish strategic partnerships, and expand our customer base. 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to form partnerships with businesses, organizations, and key stakeholders in the transportation sector. 
  • Increase revenue by prospecting, signing, and generating sales from new  accounts for shuttle buses, sprinter vans, and class B units. 
  • Conduct market research to uncover growth opportunities and assess competitive advantages. 
  • Visit prospective customers to stimulate interest in establishing or expanding vehicle bus fleets and commercial purchases. 
  • Respond promptly to sales inquiries and/or requests for proposals to secure business. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure company revenue growth. 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the purchase process. 
  • Coordinate logistics for vehicle acquisition and delivery to business customers. 
  • Execute business plans to achieve profitability and sales goals and utilize a consultative sales approach to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts. 
  • Review sales and customer data daily to monitor growth and declines, executing action plans to address issues with specific customers.
  • Close out agreements, sending final contracts to businesses to finalize deals.  
  • Coordinate with the service department on fleet deliveries if service items need to be addressed. 
  • Represent the dealer at business and civic functions as assigned by management. 
  • Work directly with the Director of Inventory to secure fleet inventory. 
 


 
Qualifications:

 
  • 7-10 years of experience in business-to-business sales, business development, or account management (experience in RV, commercial transportation or related industries is a must) 
  • 5-7 years of previous experience managing a sales division or department creating a successful sales strategy
  • Proven success in identifying and securing new business opportunities in the commercial vehicle sales or transportation sector 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills 
  • Computer and software proficiency; Sales Force and excel specifically 
  • Strong phone skills (Cold calling)
  • Meticulous attention to detail, including maintaining accurate records and diligently tracking key sales metrics
  • Enthusiasm for supporting internal projects and business priorities, bringing order and efficiency to critical internal initiatives
  • Confidence to present internally and externally to senior leaders across various business segments
  • Professional credibility, responsiveness, integrity, ethical standards, and ability to prioritize across competing demands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to communicate challenges and opportunities concisely and clearly
  • This is a customer facing role which requires a professional image and delivery of exceptional customer service skills  
  • Valid Driver’s license 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age 
  • Travel may be required 
  • Must be able to lift to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
  • Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
